A Missyou tribute website is a simple, personal and meaningful way to give thanks for the life of a loved one. With our easy-to-use approach, anyone can create a personal and lasting tribute - a safe place to share treasured memories and tell the story of your loved one’s life.

Is there a cost to setting up a tribute webpage?

Missyou is the only site of its kind run by registered charities who work in the area of care for the bereaved. We do not charge to set up a tribute web page or to use Missyou, but instead we invite you to make a donation to one of the registered charities supported by this site.

These charities are all locally-based hospice organisations, caring for the terminally ill during the last months and weeks of life, and also extending that support to their families. Local hospices rely on the support of individuals like you to deliver these vital care services, as the government only provides on average a third of their funding costs.

We ask for a suggested donation of £20 per year to use Missyou. Some people prefer to give other levels of gift – the choice is entirely up to you. Some people have also chosen to make further donations in memory of their loved ones via the Tribute page – perhaps on a special day or meaningful anniversary.

Is the site secure?

Missyou is a completely secure site. Tribute sites are all password-protected. In addition, if you decide to donate, our online transactions are processed by Secure Trading, the UK’s leading independent internet payment service provider. And finally, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will never pass on your details to third parties and encourage you to read our privacy policy.

Who runs Missyou?

Missyou is a unique online tribute service. The site was created and is now guided by experts in bereavement care. It is managed on a day-to-day basis by two registered charities – Weston Hospicecare and Help the Hospices – and any profits are distributed to registered charities.
